Let me start by saying this year has brought some of the sweetest and most joy filled weddings. Brent and Kaylah were no exception. I may have actually laughed so hard I snorted multiple times throughout the day. From arriving to the groomsmen walking around in bib overalls with no shirts creating their own photo shoot, to the dancing at the end of the night. They were just pure entertainment, but even with their shenanigans, the beauty and elegance of the day would not be over shadowed. As we walked up to the room where the girls were getting ready, the mood was set with the most beautiful music playing over the speaker. Everyone was just calm and enjoying the time getting ready together. Every detail of the day was so classy and elegant.
The moment Kaylah stepped out in her dress I am sure we all had to catch our breath. She was just so stunning. She has this sweet and kind spirit about her that draws you in – you just have to notice her. Even after having a first look, Brent would be taken aback the moment she came down the aisle. I looked over, and it just appeared as if his heart was so full it could not hold any more love for Kaylah. Tears streaming down his face and pride bursting from him that this woman was becoming his wife. Kaylah’s step dad performed the ceremony, and it was just one of the most sincere and meaningful ceremonies I have witnessed. Every detail of the day was perfection. From the venue, the dress, the decor, the ice cream truck, the band with the violinist, down to her step dad marrying her, each and every detail had so much meaning and thought. It was simply one of the most elegant and beautiful weddings I have seen.
That seems to be a trend too. I am so thankful that SBG is attracting brides who not only plan the most beautiful days, but also put so much heart into their meanings.
P.S. Oh don’t mind those cousins in overalls! They think it’s funny to show up to a wedding dressed like that. My second shooter and I laughed so hard we cried.
