Oh where do I even begin…
Abby had the task of planning a wedding while attending law school in VA, having all of her family in TN, and planning a move to TX. This was no easy task. Finding a venue, deciding on which state to have the wedding and where would she be living at the time. One thing she knew from the beginning was that her family and closest friends needed to be able to make it to the wedding. After a few location changes she decided to have her wedding in Roanoke where she and Ross attended law school. It would be at one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. St Andrews Roman Catholic Church. As my team and I drove into Roanoke we saw a church from the interstate and exclaimed with excitement how amazing it would be if that was Ross and Abby’s church. You can only imagine the look of awe on our faces when we pulled up to that exact church to scout the venue. It simply is the most incredible and beautiful church.
Every detail of Ross and Abby’s wedding was so timeless, elegant, and classy. I felt like I was in an old Hollywood movie at times. Her dress was made for her. It was tailored so well to her and the design seemed very Jackie O. We all could not stop exclaiming how beautiful she looked and how amazing her dress was on her. She looked so regal.
Each detail of the day. From the guys’ tuxes, the bridesmaids’ beautiful dresses, down to the lanterns they would carry. Each and every detail so well planned out and creating the magic of this beautiful timeless day. So much joy and love surrounded them. It was simply a magical day. Her sisters helping her get ready, her friend creating her bouquet and the family all surrounding them in support and love. This was one of the most timeless and classic weddings I have captured.
