Oh these are my kind of people. We laughed so much my sides hurt. From the first look in a T-Rex costume to Josh’s dad handing him a giant fake diamond for the ring exchange during the ceremony, it was definitely a day filled with laughter and so much joy.
Alicia and Josh love to laugh just as much as they love their families. Seeing the love both sides had for this couple had me in tears. To hear her new father in law give his toast as the best man, stating how he and his wife prayed for a little girl for so many years. Giving thanks to finally have their little girl, a daughter, join their sweet family. Oh y’all know that had me bawling. Once again thankful a camera covers my face. Josh and his family were so sweet to my team and me. They were insistent on saving us plates of delicious home made food and making sure we were cared for, even though it was their day. It just goes to show how giving and loving this couple truly is. I cry just thinking back on the love that was showered over them both from everyone in attendance. The Adams community celebrated their own. Every aspect of the day was planned and carried out in love and (lots of) laughter.
Alicia is one of my brides I became such good friends with. I am so thankful for a career that leads me to be a small part, and sometimes a continued part, of people’s lives.
