Katie looked like a bride straight off of a movie screen. The hint of blush in her dress to the amazing shoes she wore. She is a woman of fashion and style. It showed in every detail she chose for her day. Each and every detail showed her beautiful, elegant style. She also had a flare of fun which I absolutely loved because when I think of Jason and Katie I think of their laughter. One of my favorite details was her cake table. For the groom’s cake she had an armadillo cake with quotes from Steel Magnolias. Oh it was something this Southern heart loved. It was a perfect way to add some personality to their day and keep it beautiful and classy.

I loved how the moment Katie saw Jason she seemed to relax. She began to laugh and enjoy her day. My favorite thing about Jason and Katie is the joy, laughter and love they share. It is just one of the most precious relationships I have seen and I just wish everyone got to experience such love.

So many moments I want to share, and I am just not even sure how to do that in words. I will let the images speak, but I will tell you a few of my favorite moments. Katie’s daughter walking down as the flower girl and then running back to walk her momma down the aisle to Jason. Not to just bring her Momma to Jason but so Jason could make a promise to her as well. There are days when I am giving thanks that I am just overwhelmed with appreciation for the people and precious moments I get to capture. Being chosen to capture something so special and beautiful is humbling and such an amazing blessing to my life. I can only hope I give my couples half as much as they give to me.
